I have brought through two instances of cancer over the last 18 years, both within my neck and throat, treated and operated on by Roy Farrell for whom I have the greatest respect and thanks for my now continuing good health. His care not just for myself but his help and consideration for my family through the course of my treatments has been all I could wish for. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who might be in need of his undoubted capabilities.

I used Mr Farrell for an on-going sinus issue and found him to be likable, knowledgeable and professional. I always felt listened to with my problem being thoroughly investigated and questions answered. He presented options for me to consider with all the pros and cons of each explained so that I could make considered choices. I would not hesitate to recommend.

My son had a hearing problem and saw Mr Farrell. He quickly solved the problem and explained the medical and surgical options as well as the option to watch and wait. We chose to have the operation which was arranged and carried out to great success - hearing restored and all back to normal. Follow up was thorough and at all time we felt listened to and all our questions were taken seriously and answered honestly. Would (and do) absolutely recommend.

I have been a patient of Mr Farrell for 20 plus years. He has operated on both my Ears and Nose on at least 7 occasions. I have total faith in his abilities. He is an excellent surgeon who has enabled me to continue hearing despite many difficulties I have had from a young age. Six weeks ago I had further surgery that has been most successful. Mr Farrell has always explained everything in a very clear, concise and courteous manner.

I was told Dr Roy Farrell was one of the best by someone, I was unfortunately highly disappointed. He did not explain the reason of diagnosis, no treatment explained, no empathy at all. Very blunt and 0 counselling to the patient. Metaphorically speaking a If someone may have for example lost a leg he would just tell the patient who may have woken up that you have lost your leg, that’s it, no treatment, no empathy just blunt and get out of the room. Really had a poor experience.
